Marketing & Sales Manager
Accountable for the long-term profitable growth of the Grinding portfolio in Business Line Mining. This role is a full-time job and covers both the scope of Solutions and Service portfolio. Ensure ABB has a full understanding of market requirements and can transform these requirements into offering specifications and development activities. Perform various offering life cycle activities supporting development, manufacturing, launch, maintenance, pricing, and profitability. Key responsibilities: - Own the technical and market specifications for the service and solution offering, ensuring alignment with customer needs, regulations, and mining industry standards. - Define clear customer value propositions per segment and channel, and ensure they are effectively communicated through internal enablement and customer-facing materials. - Develop and maintain the business plan for the assigned portfolio, driving sustainable growth and long-term competitiveness in the mining sector. - Identify portfolio gaps and emerging opportunities by analyzing market trends and competitor activity; shape and prioritize the product and service roadmap. - Lead installed base mapping by region, maintain reliable data in ServIS, and align with Sales, Service, and Training to address lifecycle stages and service coverage. - Follow-up on development projects to ensure execution is on time and on budget, aligning cross-functional teams for smooth delivery and market readiness. - Manage the full lifecycle of offerings - monitor performance, plan enhancements and cost reductions, and drive decisions on phase-outs and obsolescence. - Support Sales in strategic opportunities, engage directly with key customers, and represent the portfolio at trade shows and industry events.
