The position is for a Design technical supervisor of Compression Systems Advanced Engine Programs (AEP). This individual will lead the design team administratively and technically under the guidance of the Associate Director, and must be able to represent or stand in for supervisor when unavailable. Responsible for integration within CIPT, and with partners, mating modules and system design disciplines in execution of design tasks supporting an array of AEP programs. CSMC AEP covers tasks of both Commercial and Military nature and covers Design from nosecone/spinner through HPC EGV. Role will also involve management of Product Review Database especially in areas of records and action item/review close out. Candidate must have strong analytical, problem solving and trending skills with the ability to focus on results and driving tasks to completion.
What You Will Learn
AEP tasks run a large gamut of assignments. Hard to get bored here. Currently FAA CLEEN III – noise reduction, Eagle Blend fan & HPC rig – increased airfoil blend allowance, JetZero – PW2040 on new airframe, SWITCH – enable hybrid electric testing, AMPS (Collaborative Combat Aircraft) – inlet generator support on PWC engine, Composite Fan blade and associated module technologies. This names the major programs. There are other studies being performed, technologies advanced and process innovation going on.

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.
Current site is East Hartford Engineering Technical Center (ETC), 4th floor near col’ns T to R-3 overlooking the Hanger. This summer plan is for group to move to Middletown Bld 140.
Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.
The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
