Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Process Specialist - HC with 4 to 6 years of experience in Clinical Coding. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-specialist and provider domains. This role requires working from the office during night shifts. The candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and efficient clinical coding processes contributing to the overall success of our healthcare services.
Responsibilities
Lead the clinical coding process to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Oversee the coding of multi-specialist and provider domains to maintain high-quality data.
Provide support and guidance to the coding team to enhance their performance.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely coding.
Monitor coding processes to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
Implement best practices for clinical coding to improve efficiency and accuracy.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with coding guidelines.
Train new team members on clinical coding procedures and standards.
Develop and maintain documentation for coding processes and guidelines.
Analyze coding data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Communicate with stakeholders to provide updates on coding activities.
Ensure that all coding activities are completed within the required timeframes.
Contribute to the development of new coding strategies to enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
Possess a strong background in clinical coding with at least 4 years of experience.
Have experience in multi-specialist and provider domains.
Demonstrate excellent attention to detail and accuracy in coding.
Show proficiency in using coding software and tools.
Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Have the ability to work effectively in a night shift environment.
Display excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Be able to train and mentor new team members.
Have a commitment to maintaining high standards of coding quality.
Show the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
Demonstrate a proactive approach to identifying and resolving coding issues.
Have a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
Certifications Required
Certified Professional Coder (CPC) or Certified Coding Specialist (CCS)
