Duration: 6-12 months (flexible) for 40 hours per week

Your role

Improve the User Interface for our financial modelling and connect the the datasources already used for quoting LSP’s in International Markets with each other. You will gain Hands-on experience in Philips Healthcare LSP modelling and deal approval process by participating in the user acceptance testing for financial models.

  • Design, develop our new very intuitive User Interface keeping a User-Centered approach
  • Coding model driven apps (using PowerApps), Unit test and update technical documentation
  • Preparation of deployment including updating the test scripts and supporting End Users
  • Supporting the documentation of our processes and creating work instructions for End Users

You are a part of the Harmonized Business Case Team. This team is responsible for building and developing financial models for the quotation and delivery functionality of long-term strategic partnerships. Each Team Member has its own expertise and by combining our brainpower we make the best products.

You're the right fit if:

  • You are studying for a Master degree in information Technology or related field
  • You have experience with designing/developing UI with Model driven PowerApps
  • You have an excellent understanding of Microsoft Excel
  • You have basic knowledge of programming, preferably in VBA, SQL. Java (preferred)
  • You have basic knowledge of Microsoft Azure (preferred)
  • You value customer satisfaction and like the design as much as the coding behind; you are able to structure your work yourself and poses the courage to seek assistance when needed
  • You are fluent in English so you can be an active team player
  • Some basic Interest in Finance and Accounting would help you a lot.

How we work together

We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week.

  • Monthly full-time allowance between €500 - €700 gross, depending on educational level. If you will perform a part-time internship you will receive the allowance pro-rata.
  • Housing compensation, in case of relocating to the vicinity of the office, €300,- net if location is in the vicinity of Amsterdam, €255,- net for all other Philips locations. You need to provide a rental contract of the land lord, and your normal home-work travel distance need to be more than 50 km or travel time (one way trip) need to be more than 1.5 hours.
  • Travel compensation, if you are not eligible for a free public transport card; you will receive max. €192,- net
  • Paid holidays per internship term.
  • The opportunity to buy Philips equipment at our Philips shop
