The Senior Software Engineer works with a team of onshore developers and a Product Manager (known as a DTransformers scrum team) to design and develop best of breed software offerings for the CRM industry. The broader D&AI team will combine their industry knowledge and Pega’s innovative technology to create products that will be used to solve business problems or inefficiencies for our customers. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with extensive experience in Pega PRPC to lead the design, development, and implementation of Pega-based enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Pega architecture, case management, and business process automation.

What You'll Do at Pega:
- Design and Development: Create scalable, secure, and high-performing Pega applications for customers to address their BAU changes without impacting the live systems. Design and build solutions to simulate the BAU changes and get statistical data for comparisons.
- Case Management: Lead the creation of case management workflows, business rules, UI/UX configurations, and integration strategies.
- Best Practices: Define Pega architecture best practices, governance models, and security frameworks.
- Optimization: Optimize Pega applications using AI, robotic process automation (RPA), decisioning, and predictive analytics.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with Pega Guardrails and performance best practices.
- Integration: Develop integration strategies using REST/SOAP APIs, connectors, and external databases.
- Configuration: Configure decision tables, declarative rules, data pages, activities, and flows within Pega.
- Testing and Deployment: Ensure successful deployment, configuration, and testing of Pega applications in Dev, QA, and Production environments.
- Support: Provide ongoing technical support and optimization for Pega applications.
Who You Are:
- You are a Pega developer who is skilled in marketing automation and passionate about exploring and applying real-world AI technology and Pega platform capabilities to help solve business problems.
- 4 to 6 years of software development experience (using Pega platform - CSSA certified)
- Bachelor’s/master’s degree in computer science or similar field
- Agile/Scrum development methodology knowledge/experience
- Strong expertise in Pega Platform, including case management, integration, UI design, and performance optimization.
- Proficiency in data modeling, rules configuration, workflows, debugging tools and decisioning in Pega.
- Exposure to the CRM domain will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of Job schedulers/Agents is a plus
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills. Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
