Pegasystems is offering an exciting opportunity to join our Pega Robotics Automation team as a Quality Assurance Engineer. Pega Robotics is one of the leading Robotics Process Automation (RPA) products on the market. The QA Engineer will be a key resource to ensure product quality of the RPA products in Pega. The QA Engineer will be responsible for working with US Stakeholders, Product Owners, Developers, and other QAs across the globe in our agile team structure. Partner and collaborate with the engineering teams to achieve quality through continuous build, test automation, release engineering and software testability and translate test plans and cases to code. We are seeking experienced technical professionals who can demonstrate creativity, teamwork, a results-driven attitude, and a dedication to customer success.

In this role, you will engage deeply in maintaining the quality of the Pega Robotics product, which is one of the top-notch products in the Automation industry. You would be writing test plans for the product features, writing Automations and executing Automated test cases for the same. Automation is one of the key areas, to keep a constant check on the product quality with the best-in-class technologies and tools like Selenium, Cucumber etc. You would also be working on CI/CD pipelines using Azure scripts to create and maintain pipelines for continuous integration and deployment of new features. You would have great scope for innovation to create new tools/utilities using GenAI, which gives more productive time to team and ensure better quality.

What You'll Do at Pega:

  • You will start by learning about Pega Robot Studio a Robotics product.
  • Work on CI\CD pipelines using Azure Devops to create and maintain pipelines for performing automated testing on Pega Robot Studio.
  • Work on Automation framework improvements.
  • Work on Azure DevOps pipelines and good to have exposure towards GitLabs or Jenkins for automating pipelines.
  • Write test plans for the product features, writing and executing test cases at user story level for functional and non-functional use cases as well.
  • Work on testing Release Candidates on the latest versions released by the Product Engineering team.
  • Implement GenAI concepts in automation framework to create a robost automation scripts.
  • Actively collaborate with Product owner, team members to understand new product features, identify gaps in use cases early on, and contribute to ensure top notch quality of the product.
  • Produce proposals to improve the quality and reliability of product features.
  • Write Automations for the new features developed and integrate the same with the existing Automation scripts.
  • Work closely with various stakeholders such as Product development team, Release management, Sales automation counterparts etc.
  • Collaborate with fellow QAs to learn and apply the latest best practices to maintain software.

You enjoy challenging the developers by finding bugs covering all the corner scenarios, solving problems. You own up automation daily runs, identify failures, quickly assess them, find root cause, and provide innovative solutions to fix them. You take quality seriously and write automated tests for all newly developed/modified features. You enjoy exploring the latest developments and best practices in the software industry and apply them at work. You love to deep dive into functional and non-functional areas to build deeper and broader understanding of its semantics and workings. You are a good team player who puts team first, can collaborate with and guide other team members. You get constructive feedback with an open mind and work to continuously improve yourself. You are a self-starter and a self-learner. You are proactive to take work and to explore new areas. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple functions and tasks while managing their work time efficiently.

What You've Accomplished:

    • 2 – 4 years of Software QA experience, preferably in a product development company.
    • Experience in testing Robotics Process Automation products, Especially Pega Robot Studio, Pega Robot Manager is a plus.
    • Proficiency in Quality Assurance Methodologies & hands on experience in automation scripting with C# & .Net with Selenium or Python.
    • Strong understanding of QA methods and best practices, continuous integration, and delivery (CI/CD) knowledge. Certification in Azure DevOps is a plus.
    • Knowledge of Automation Framework and continuous improvement. Should have experience in Defect Management.
    • Experience in automating native desktop windows applications using any framework.
    • Experience in design, development, and maintenance of automation scripts along with manual test case authoring and execution.
    • Practical experience working within Agile/Scrum teams, Onshore/Offshore Product Engineers, with an understanding of the Agile software development lifecycle.
