E.ON Power Plants Belgium BV, a subsidiary of E.ON Energy Projects GmbH, develops, builds, finances and operates decentralised energy generation plants for industrial customers in Belgium and the Netherlands. Your Responsibilities

• Development of customized energy solutions to decarbonize production sites of large industrial customers usually based on a BOO (Build, Own & Operate) model
• Optimizing project development, realization, operation and maintenance as an integrated business model including discounted cash-flow modelling and risk management
• Project acquisition, conceptual design, preparation of a technical & commercial proposal, contract negotiations until final investment decision including signature
• Identifications of new opportunities and building strong relationships with new and existing customers in the Benelux
• Possibility of a career path to a more senior management function in the near future

Your Profile

• Academic degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, energy economics or economics with a technical background
• Experience and in-depth knowledge in the field of business development and management, preferably in on-site energy solutions, at high quality standards regardless of complexity in an international environment. Experience in project implementation and/or plant operation and maintenance is beneficial.
• Technical-commercial optimization of solutions as well as the ability to connect the technical, commercial and legal aspects of the projects
• Ability to work in a team and independently, willingness to take initiative and a strong commitment to excellence, including attention to detail and accuracy
• At least 10 years of experience in similar roles or industries
• Business fluent in English and Dutch is a must
