This position will leverage deep technical knowledge with strong human relation and business skills to lead technical presales of our Virtual Manufacturing (VM) or Casting solutions from execution opportunity qualification to final sale.

Responsibilities

  1. Work with sales and marketing teams to identify and qualify new business opportunities for casting solutions and strategize with regional sales managers and marketing teams annually to create targeted sales plans focused on industries and event planning.
  2. Collaborate with sales managers to qualify opportunities in key industries, conduct discovery sessions to address critical customer challenges related to casting processes, deliver technical presentations and demonstrations to showcase how ProCAST and Virtual Manufacturing simulation solutions solve problems and add value, co-develop customer success plans for software and service offerings, and document potential value for customers.
  3. Develop a deep understanding of ESI core solutions, functionalities, and applications while staying up to date on industry trends, competitive products, and advancements in casting simulation technologies, in order to offer expert advice to both customers and the sales team.
  4. Establish and maintain strong relationships with prospective and existing customers as a trusted technical advisor and collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, product development, and customer support, to ensure a seamless customer experience and foster customer loyalty.
  5. Engage in technical discussions with customers, respond promptly to inquiries, provide accurate and actionable answers to technical questions throughout the sales process, and address and resolve technical concerns raised by customers to ensure satisfaction and confidence in casting simulation solutions. Use ProCAST and FEM mesh to design and present casting process simulations that showcase ROI and performance improvements.

  1. Education & Experience:
    1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
    2. 5–10 years of relevant industry experience, particularly in casting or simulation-related domains.
  2. Technical Expertise:
    1. Strong proficiency in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and virtual manufacturing technologies.
    2. Hands-on experience with ProCAST in one or more casting processes (e.g., Sand Casting, High Pressure Die Casting, Semi-Solid Casting, Investment Casting).
    3. Familiarity with other casting simulation tools such as MAGMASOFT, EKK, or equivalent.
    4. Solid understanding of CAD software, manufacturing processes, and metallurgical principles.
  3. Analytical & Project Skills:
    1. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and validate simulation results.
    2. Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities, particularly in addressing customer challenges creatively.
    3. Strong project and time management skills; ability to handle multiple customer engagements efficiently.
  4. Communication & Customer Interaction:
    1. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
    2. Proven ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    3. Track record of delivering technical presentations and product demonstrations effectively to clients.
    4. Customer-centric mindset with a passion for building strong, lasting client relationships.
  5. Team & Travel:
    1. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.
    2. Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, conferences, and industry events.
