About this Position

• Henkel’s brands LOCTITE are global leaders in efficiency, reliability, innovation, and performance for heavy industrial customers all around the world. Our Application Engineers are our vital part of whole team, scaling Hero applications and providing innovative solutions to our customers.

What you´ll do

• Motivate and train authorized distributors to well-know LOCTITE brand products and solutions.
• Provide technical service to ensure total customer satisfaction through product trials, demonstrations, troubleshooting and customer audits for customers. Present formal training sessions to MRO customers.
• Support sales to develop projects and collaborate with different teams.
• Provide technical solutions based on Value proposition; Prepare lab evaluation and testing report to customer, provide on-site trail guidance.
• Make proposal regarding optimum process design & product.
• In-house lab equipment and 5S management.
• Lead new Adhesive Development Process (ADP) project, coordinate new projects in different departments (Product Development, customer, and sales) and push the project forward.

What makes you a good fit

• Bachelor’s or Master‘s degree in mechanical engineering or chemistry.
• Working knowledge of Heavy Industries, such as Mining, Steel, Petrochemical or Power Generation etc. ( above 5 yrs of experience).
• Knowledge of Adhesive, polymer composite or coating technical service is preferred.
• Fluency in written and spoken English language.
• Personal computer skills such as MICROSOFT OFFICE.
• Inquisitive and collaborative mindset.
• Enthusiasm for innovation.
• Ability to self-manage time and prioritize workload.
• Process thinking and solutions-oriented problem solver.
• Confident presenting in a group setting.
• Able to accept frequent domestic travel.
