Job Description:
- Being Manager in Actuarial Services department, the incumbent is primarily responsible for providing actuarial support on IFRS 17 financial reporting, method and assumption changes, experience studies and monitoring.
- During the off-quarter end period, the incumbent will also participate in various actuarial projects including but not limited to IFRS 17 financial optimization, financial reporting process improvement, control enhancement and actuarial/stochastic modelling support.
Responsibilities
- Support IFRS 17 Financial Reporting
- Quantifications and actuarial modelling support on method and assumption changes
- Perform experience studies and monitoring
- Support other actuarial projects and business initiatives as assigned
- Support the new product implementation, including assumption review, product classification, AXIS model set up, ICID set up, etc
Requirements
- University Graduate in Actuarial Science or related disciplines
- Good progressing in actuarial exams
- 5+ years of experience in life insurance industry
- Strong technical knowledge in financial reporting areas
- Knowledge in IFRS 17/HKRBC is preferred
- Knowledge in actuarial modelling
- Experience in Moody’s Axis is a plus
- Experience in stochastic modelling is a plus
