Your Job

As an Automated Test Engineer, your primary purpose is to plan, execute, and document automated tests to ensure that our product specifications and quality standards are met. You will review test plans, release Design Verification Plans (DVP), manage test requests, and conduct both pre- and post-test characterizations. The role requires proficiency in using VNAs and conducting Signal Integrity (SI) measurements, with a strong emphasis on Python programming. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and guidance from experienced team leaders are key aspects of this position.

Our Team

You will be part of the Engineering team, working closely under the guidance of the Engineering Supervisor. Our team values collaboration, and you will interact with global teams to ensure consistent testing procedures across all manufacturing sites. What You Will Do

  • Modify, manage, and document configuration files for automated test equipment to optimize production testing.
  • Set up and maintain manufacturing testers, providing operational support and troubleshooting automated test equipment issues.
  • Collaborate with global teams to ensure consistent testing procedures and support manufacturing sites worldwide.
  • Identify and implement process improvements, staying updated on the latest technologies and best practices in automated testing.
  • Ensure seamless integration between hardware and software by working with software teams to understand the interface with configuration files.
  • Review and finalize test plans with cross-functional teams, managing the release of Design Verification Plans (DVP) and obtaining necessary approvals.
  • Create and manage detailed test requests, verifying their accuracy and completeness, and clarifying any ambiguities.
  • Collect, organize, and ensure the integrity of test data, generating plots, analyzing trends, and identifying issues.
  • Conduct pre- and post-test characterizations, document, and analyze results, reviewing Signal Integrity (SI) data to ensure quality and resolve issues.
  • Conduct EMI/EMC validation and troubleshoot issues, optimizing designs based on test results in collaboration with design teams.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Python for developing scripts to streamline data processing and reporting.
  • Strong data analysis abilities and the capability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Master’s degree in a related field, particularly in Electrical, RF, and EMI/EMC domains.
  • Experience in electrical, RF, and EMI/EMC knowledge in cage optimization and a deep understanding of various cooling solutions.
