EMSYS stands for Embedded Systems development. Complete. From concept, hardware design and PCB layout to software development, integration and testing, production support.

Our team is involved in product development for the Smart Infrastructure and Digital Industries businesses of Siemens. It covers activities in the fields of Energy Management and Building Products and has complete responsibility for new modules and products.

Hardware and software developers are working together in the same location and supporting each other in a highly effective way.

Key responsibilities:

Construction and Design

• Development and elaboration of parts, assemblies, and motor components;
• Independent handling of defined design tasks;
• Creation and optimization of CAD models;
• Definition of shapes, dimensions, and tolerances;
• Design implementation of connections between parts/assemblies.

Calculations and Analysis

• Execution of technical calculations;
• Dimensioning of parts and assemblies;
• Application of specified formulas and tables.

Technical Development and Documentation

• Creation of production-ready drawings with standardized dimensioning and tolerancing;
• Development of technical records;
• Management of digital design documents;
• Consideration of: manufacturing aspects, repair possibilities, space requirements, material requirements, technical standards.

Version Control and Update Management

• Processing of design modifications;
• Procurement and verification of required design documentation;
• Coordination of changes with relevant departments;
• Analysis of feasibility and functionality.

Required qualifications:

• Advanced CAD skills, particularly in Siemens Teamcenter, Siemens NX;
• Basic SAP knowledge;
• Experience in mechanical assembly design;
• Proficient knowledge of technical standards and norms;
• Understanding of manufacturing processes;
• Analytical thinking skills;
• Technical university degree.
