Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Corporate Staff Accountant to join our accounting team. This position plays a key role in ensuring the accuracy of our financial records and supporting the broader finance function. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and a proactive mindset.

Key Responsibilities:

• Record daily bank transactions across multiple operating entities
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations for key accounts
• Maintain fixed asset details and track capital expenditures
• Complete monthly bank reconciliations
• Post recurring journal entries, including depreciation, interest, and accruals
• Assist in onboarding new facilities and entities into the accounting system
• Collaborate with the Controller to improve financial reporting and streamline accounting processes
• Prepare schedules and documentation to support audit readiness and compliance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
• 2 years of relevant accounting experience (corporate or multi-entity/multi-location preferred)
• Solid understanding of GAAP and general ledger principles
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage, QuickBooks Enterprise)
• Salary expectations range between $65-75K depending on relevant experience.
