Description

To perform quality assurance reviews for all Patient Access departments within Baptist Health South Florida following HIPAA, AHCA, and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) guidelines and to assist with coordinating the acquisition and dissemination of data related to Patient Access to maximize reimbursement. Estimated pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.25 / hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

Degrees:

  • Associates.

Licenses & Certifications:

  • NAHAM Certified Healthcare Access Associate.

Additional Qualifications:

  • HS Diploma or equivalent.
  • CHAA Certification must obtain within 1 yr.
  • Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), Certified Revenue Cycle Representative (CRCR) perferred.
  • 1-2 yrs exp in a health care environment with extensive knowledge of the revenue cycle (Patient Access, Case Mgmt, HIPAA, AHCA, Sarbanes-Oxley, Patient Finance, HIM, etc.
  • ) workflow processes with emphasis in Patient Access.
  • Experience & knowledge of PC applications, including Office 365, Microsoft Office products MS-Word, MS-Excel, MS-PowerPoint, etc.
  • Must be very detail oriented, self-motivated & have excellent organizational & interpersonal communication skills.
  • Highly organized & able to effectively maintain multiple initiatives while driving sustainable operational changes.
  • Demonstrate flexibility to perform other tasks as needed in an active work environment with changing work needs.
  • Fosters & exemplifies high ethical standards & strategic practices to enhance the success of the organization.
  • Ability to quickly learn & adapt to new technologies & software tools.
  • High level of attention to detail.
  • Self-motivation with an ability to work effectively within a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills in both customer & team interactions.
