What You Will Do:

As a Senior DevOps Engineer on our dynamic Engineering team, you will play a pivotal role in innovating and maintaining our cutting-edge DevOps platform in Eindhoven. Your expertise will be crucial in optimizing CI/CD pipelines to ensure they are as efficient as possible, thereby enhancing the velocity and automation of our software delivery toolchain encompassing software product provisioning for on-prem and cloud deployment scenarios.

You will be instrumental in building and maintaining the infrastructure that is the backbone of Forescout's product development cycle. This role demands a high level of talent to meet our stringent quality and availability standards.

Responsibilities and tasks:

• Ensure the stability and efficiency of the building infrastructure maintaining the CI/CD pipelines and artifact management using tools like Jenkins, Github CI/CD, JFrog Artifactory and streamline application deployment to Forescout product offering.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts to automate provisioning and configuration for on-prem and cloud environments, familiarity in tools like Ansible, Terraform, Python is a must.
• Implement automated operations wherever is possible to reduce manual intervention and improve deployment efficiency
• Enforce security checks for code, artifacts and infrastructure using tools like Snyk to identify and remediate vulnerabilities
• Work closely with network engineers to configure on-prem environments, ensuring high availability and scalability
• Partner with software developers to optimize application performance in containerized environments.

What You Offer Forescout:

• A Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Deep knowledge of the CI/CD tool chain, namely: Jenkins, GitHub, git, Bitbucket, JFrog
• Automation-first attitude. Experience with Infrastructure as a Code (IaC) and configuration management tools, such as Terraform and Ansible
• Strong work experience in managing virtualization technologies, such as ProxMox, KVM, VMWare Aria.
• Deep knowledge of Linux OS and Ubuntu and Red Hat distributions, and containerization technologies, including Docker, are required skills.
• Proficiency in Kubernetes for efficient container orchestration and management.
• Scripting and programming: Python, bash, Powershell
• Good knowledge networking and LAN equipment configuration and network security principles
• Experienced in cloud technologies is requested: Azure and AWS.
• The candidate is familiar with the Atlassian applications, such as: JIRA and Confluence
• The candidate knows the SCRUM methodology principle and has proven experience of working in SCRUM teams.
• Strong skills in writing user-facing documentation with clarity and precision.
• Minimum 5 years of experience
