Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient onPrem and cloud-based infrastructure on Azure and Google Cloud using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and Ansible;
- Automate complex deployments, monitoring, and security tasks;
- Lead initiatives to improve system performance, availability, scalability, and security across services;
- Serve as the expert for the hybrid environment (onPrem, Azure, GCP) networking, security, and monitoring, implementing best practices for cloud governance, compliance, and security policies;
- Collaborate with cross-function project teams to ensure infrastructure aligns with the project / UseCase vision and roadmaps;
- Providing guidance on hybrid infrastructure, automation strategies, and DevOps best practices.
Qualifications:
- At least 6 years of experience in defining IT architecture, governance, and security;
- A minimum of 6 years of experience as an expert in Microsoft Azure cloud, onPrem architecture;
- Experience as an Architect in Google Cloud Platform;
- Experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) based on Azure DevOps and GIT, ideally with a minimum of 3 years of experience;
- At least 3 years of experience working in infrastructure-as-code expertise utilizing Terraform;
- A collaborative and mentoring mindset, with the ability to guide and support junior engineers;
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence technical direction;
- Solid awareness of security and compliance requirements;
- Solid experience in application monitoring and health checks. You have solid knowledge of agile implementation methods and common project tools;
- Strong communicator, effectively engaging stakeholders at all levels;
- Passionate about driving improvement and leading change in dynamic settings;
- Fluent English; German language skills are an advantage, but not mandatory;
- Team spirit and willingness to cooperate in an international team;
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate or bachelor’s degree in related field (preferred);
- Related IT and/or Service Management Certifications (preferred).
- Self-motivated and proactive to perform work and continue learning;
- Occasional travel to Germany may be required.
