Salary Range: 55,000 – 65,000 USD Annually

The Business Development Representative in the Legal Media Sales Organization is a sales position that will be a hybrid role on our Inside Sales team in our NYC office, right across from Grand Central! The role exists to sell into ALM/Law.com Events (delegate sales) & Marketing Services. The portfolio of events include Legalweek NYC, Women, Influence & Power in Law (WIPL) and a series of General Counsel Conferences throughout the US. You will also be selling Law.com marketing services to small law and boutique law firms primarily on the East Coast. You will be selling digital display advertising across the Law.com family of brands along with - recognition advertising (Best Ofs), Lead Generation, co-branded email outreach to Law Firms. The position has an annual sales goal of approximately $800,000 - $1,000,000 with an average sale of $3K-$15K.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet and exceed revenue goals
  • Manage the sales process from initial client contact through post-sale follow up
  • Identify and engage with prospects through outbound sales efforts using Nooks AI power dialer
  • Utilize SalesForce, Groove, and Salesloft tools to forecast, track and report sales activity
  • Build relationships at all levels within client organizations
  • 70% new clients, 30% retaining existing accounts

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • 1-3 years of sales experience in Delegate Sales, Digital Media or Advertising
  • Preferred experience with Sales Enablement tools such as Nooks, Gong, Salesloft, Groove or Outreach
  • Proven track record of achieve goals in a commission environment
  • Someone who understands “End to End” Sales Process
  • Experience in finding and selling to new accounts
  • Ability to build and maintain effective and lasting relationships
  • Coachable and open minded

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
