Marketing Coordinator Job Spec

The Marketing Coordinator role is a newly created role within Storyful and will provide support to the Marketing Director and Marketing Manager. Reporting to the Content Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will be informed about industry trends and the competitive landscape across Storyful’s business pillars, while helping strategise and implement marketing and advertising plans.

This role will be the editorial lead for the extensive portfolio of owned distribution channels to include social media, newsletters and websites, as well as supporting other aspects of the marketing plan. The Marketing Coordinator will be driven by data analysis and deep-diving into market trends to maximise reach and effectiveness of Storyful's marketing efforts.

Candidates with a driven, ambitious and data-driven mindset will excel in this role, bringing enhanced insight to the marketing team in achieving department goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Specific responsibility for content management operations for the Storyful News & Content and Intel business across multiple channels, to include SEO and content optimization
• Work with the Marketing Director to create and implement a cohesive marketing plan to support organisational goals
• Specific responsibility for the posting, management and execution of marketing content (emails, campaigns, ads etc.) across all Storyful channels, to include SEO and asset optimization
• Monitoring the performance of online and offline digital marketing campaigns and reporting the results to relevant stakeholders
• Review SEO opportunities to ensure campaigns are aligned with company objectives
• Ensure that all marketing efforts serve immediate and long-term business KPI goals by identifying and executing improvements for processes, content, and lead generation
• Support the Marketing Director and Content Manager in evaluating and establishing the marketing plan and strategy by assembling and analysing sales forecasts, setting objectives, planning and organizing promotional presentations, and updating calendars
• Analyze digital marketing metrics, collaborating with internal stakeholders to refine marketing objectives and distributing advertising content to the most impactful media platforms
• Ensure content is edited, accurate, engaging and consistent with brand and tone of voice guidelines
• Work with in-house designers to produce materials of visual impact and within brand guidelines
• Compile research on the current media landscape, competitor analysis, campaign results and industry trends
• Own monthly reporting, campaign project management and administration for the Marketing team
• Assist with development of and maintenance of sales collateral
• Strong creative eye with the ability to evaluate design
• 4+ year experience working at an agency or startup
• Fluent in digital and social media essential
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or journalism

Pay Range: 50,000 + Bonus - 70,000+ Bonus
