We seek a highly motivated, detail oriented, business-minded student with creativity, initiative, teamwork and project management skills to support our security services practice.
This internship will support project generation, management and administration for the delivery of protection and embedded consulting services. The successful candidate will be a highly organized individual with attention to detail and willingness to learn about security consulting.
As a Security Project Operations Intern, you can work with various areas of our Security Services department to support the following operation initiatives:
- Keep track of long- and short-term projects provided each month by the Security Services practice.
- Assist in embedded resource management of expenses, training design, and other administrative support.
- Collaborate in planning for executive protection tasks, including resource allocation and agenda analysis.
- Manage administrative actions of the services business including contractor invoices, expenses and internal management systems.
- Research and vetting of potential contractors for specialized services.
- Ensure that client invoices are created according to proposed timelines.
- Other tasks resulting from daily activities.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Fluency in English and Spanish (both written and spoken)
- Able to multitask and balance competing requirements
- Microsoft Office suite (including Word, PowerPoint and Excel)
