You will manage the network design of the internal network, Datacenter and Office LAN (called IPLAN network) , keeping the existing services and improving the agreed functioning and performance parameters (via lifecycle, capacity and performance management)
Engineering and Delivery of IPLAN solutions (HLD, LLD that support reliable changes and new services delivered and hosted across the whole Vodafone Network in Europe.
With these activities you will have a great impact on our business:
You will be accountable for the High and Low Level Design (HLD, LLD), network implementation, optimization, testing and quality assurance activities in IPLAN network. Main managed NW elements: routers, switches, load balancers, CGNAT, VPN concentrators, Firewalls, Proxies and services implementation over them). The local market designs should follow central TSO architecture guidelines.
You will be responsible for IP connectivity design based on customer demand.
You will manage relationships with local stakeholders in the cluster countries, in particular network operations, IT, CTSO Office and other local teams as well as GNE&D teams for the implementation of configuration activities, special projects, or the handling of emergency situations.
You will be in charge of optimization activities within IP LAN & Office network Data Core in these countries and the performance analysis and improvements devised as necessary.
You will align and steer local engineering implementation in the cluster countries to the regional design and roadmap
You will deploy the network fit for purpose including to understand how our services/applications layer will work across the network (capacity, capability, utilisation)
You will deliver optimal implementation process that ensures quality.
You will define, plan and schedule activities and interventions and support the Change Management Process
Quality assurance and optimization in the design and implementation process
With these skills you are a great candidate:
Ability to help define and target a vision for Vodafone IP LAN networks.
