General Summary:

Product and Test Development Engineering (PDTE) is looking for DRAM Test Engineer, who will develop cost-effective test solutions for KGD DRAM memory at Qualcomm. Responsibilities include working with BIST systems, memory controllers, PHY, IO pads, LPDDR4/5x products, and ATE. Tasks involve creating test plans, identifying hardware needs, developing ATE tests, debugging silicon, analyzing performance, conducting failure analysis, improving yields, and reducing test time. Collaboration with global teams is required.

As a DRAM Test Engineer, you will

• Be responsible for characterization and developing cost-effective manufacturing test solutions for KGD DRAM memory products
• Work with BIST systems, memory controllers, PHY, IO pads, LPDDR2-5x products
• Work with automated test equipment (ATE)
• Develop Characterization and Test Plans, identifying DFT and test hardware requirements
• Develop ATE tests/routines/programs to execute test plans
• Drive first silicon debug to qualify designs fabricated at external foundries
• Perform technical data analysis of parametric performance
• Drive failure analysis to completion
• Analyze high volume manufacturing yields and driving test time reduction

【Minimum Qualifications】

Hands-on experience in the following areas:

• Automated test equipment for memory testing.
• DDR1/2/3/4, LPDDR1/2/3/4 protocols, timing diagrams, and device specifications.
• HI-SPEED test and characterization, including eye diagram characteristics, differential signals, jitter, and signal integrity.
• Programming languages such as C, C++, and PERL.
• Design for Test (DFT) methodologies, including Built-In Self Test (BIST).
• VLSI technologies, analog and digital integrated circuits, and semiconductor physics.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

【Preferred Qualifications 】

• 2-3 years of proficiency with Advantest T5503 and T5833 test equipment.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience with bench instrumentation, including oscilloscopes.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Engineering, or related field.
