Description

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Operations and Finance organizations to assess current pricing methods by site, region and product line.
    • How pricing is determined by location – document current method
      • Existing (stock) vs new L1-L4
    • Evaluate product line pricing ranges
      • Conduct current price configuration evaluation for defined product lines
    • Review prior Pricing workshop data and formulate draft of roadmap needs
  • Review and propose a “commercial team” pricing insights process to gather pricing insights for key product lines identified.
  • Work with Pricing team on templates and possible pricing models to evaluate profit assessment for defined products (example: Rubber Gaskets, Dip Tubes, etc.)
  • Draft a global pricing guidebook to factor:
    • MOQ’s by product line / site
    • Value Driver Pricing considerations + gain feedback for current processes today and any needs for improvements for a documented process (examples: printing, venting, coating, custom application, etc.)
    • Craft by market or product pricing add on factors.

Minimum Skills, Knowledge and Ability Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or a related field
  • Experience in pricing strategy, preferably in a global context.
  • Experience in financial modeling and valuation.
  • Acute attention to detail with strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in pricing software and tools, ability to learn if needed.
  • Demonstrate initiative, integrity and results oriented mindset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Strong motivation and work ethic and the ability to work independently, ability to balance multiple projects and competing deadlines.
