Accounts Receivable Trainee

Essity is a Global Hygiene and Health company that develops, produces, and sells Personal Care, Consumer Tissue, and Professional Hygiene products.

We are currently looking for an Intern who will join our Account Receivable Administrator Team in Lisbon.

About the role:

As an Account Receivable Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in financial operations within our Business Shared Service Centre.

You’ll work closely with the Account Receivable team, assisting in various tasks related to invoicing, collections, and financial reporting.

This internship is a 6-month position. We offer a supportive learning environment and opportunities for growth in addition to a competitive salary.

What you will do:

• Assist in processing customer invoices and credit notes.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging and follow up on outstanding payments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve billing discrepancies.
• Prepare financial reports and contribute to month-end closing activities.
• Support the team in maintaining accurate records and documentation.

Who you are:

• You have a Diploma or Degree in Business and Administration or similar path
• You are fluent in English both spoken and written, A good Knowledge of German will be considered a strong plus
• Currently pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and contribute to a dynamic work environment.
