PRIMARY PURPOSE:

Assist department managers, together with the supervisor, in overseeing the Advanced Quality Plan to ensure operations achieve quality, productivity, and output goals, and drive continuous improvement.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure customer quality standards are met and instructions are applied.
  • Develop qualification plans for NPI and transfer projects, establish quality documents such as control plans, quality standards, and inspection instructions, and provide training to the quality team and related departments.
  • Coordinate Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) implementation.
  • Coordinate Process Control Network (PCN) within the plant.
  • Implement and monitor safe launch processes to control and improve defect rates, scraps, material consumption, and sorting costs. Lead stakeholders in addressing quality issues and conducting improvement projects.
  • Participate in quality meetings within the plant and/or with customers, report findings, analyze defects, follow up on actions, handle customer complaints and claims, and manage sorting and PFMEA.
  • Participate in trial runs, component transfers, product transfers, and new product development.
  • Understand personal and section goals to contribute to achieving quality and delivery objectives.
  • Ensure compliance with rules, procedures, and requirements regarding: 6S & KAIZEN; Environmental Health Safety; RBA & Social Responsibility; Protection of company assets
  • Support and contribute to current Molex Total Quality Management (TQM), Six Sigma, International Standards Organization (ISO), and Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) Management Systems by adhering to stated policies and procedures.

At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing companies

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Strong knowledge in engineering and quality
  • Good understanding of manufacturing processes
  • Proficiency in English
  • Skills in creating standards and instructions
  • Effective communication skills
  • On-the-job training, coaching, and basic management & Kaizen skills
  • Operation of quality inspection machines and instruments
  • Familiarity with ISOs, RoHS, SAP, and IATF core tools
