Responsibilities:

• Development of BU-specific components based on the specifications in close collaboration with the application engineer, taking into account customer requirements as well as internal and legal requirements
• Concept development, construction (3D/2D), strength calculations based on standards
• Planning tests based on standards together with the application engineer
• Necessary coordination with suppliers, process engineers and quality assurance, as well as other roles to ensure a robust and cost-efficient design
• Responsible for an expert topic to be defined for standardization and its continuous improvement
• Coordination of tasks in the extended team
• Support FMEA
• Support methods to improve workflows and products

Qualifications:

• Engineering degree (Master, Bachelor or Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, Design Engineering or similar)
• At least 3 years related work experience preferable
• Knowledge in CAD (3D/2D) and strength calculations with FEM
• Good presentation and communications skills
• First experiences in project management preferable
• Passion for design, development and achieving a goal in collaboration with all other functions involved
• Fluent German and English language skills
