Position Description:

Designs and implements Salesforce.com solutions using standard configuration capabilities, custom solutions in Salesforce Lightning, and Apex and Lightning components. Develops business critical, enterprise-wide software applications in an Agile environment, using SOQL and SOSL. Automates pipelines using Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) best practices. Provides business solutions by developing complex or multiple software applications.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develops original and creative technical solutions to on-going development efforts.
  • Designs applications or subsystems on major projects and for/in multiple platforms.
  • Develops applications for multiple projects supporting several divisional initiatives.
  • Supports and performs all phases of testing leading to implementation.
  • Assists in the planning and conducting of user acceptance testing.
  • Provides input on technical architecture, standards and practices, and organizational change process for Salesforce.com development, deployment, and operations.
  • Develops comprehensive documentation for multiple applications supporting several corporate initiatives.
  • Responsible for post-installation testing of any problems.
  • Establishes project plans for projects of moderate scope.
  • Works on complex assignments and often multiple phases of a project.
  • Performs independent and complex technical and functional analysis for multiple projects supporting several initiatives.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and three (3) years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or related occupation) developing Salesforce solutions in a financial services environment.

Or, alternatively, Master’s degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Information Systems, Mathematics, Physics, or a closely related field and one (1) year of experience as a Senior Software Engineer/Developer (or related occupation) developing Salesforce solutions in a financial services environment.

Skills and Knowledge:

Candidate must also possess:

  • Demonstrated Expertise (“DE”) performing end-to-end architecture, solution design, and development of CRM capabilities on a Force.com platform, using APEX, VisualForce, Lightning WebComponents, Flows, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and REST/SOAP Integration.
  • DE performing Salesforce development – automating the process of creating, updating records and generating email alerts for the records using APEX Triggers; designing email templates using HTML and CSS; performing asynchronous bulk data updates using Batch APEX; writing unit test class to achieve at least 75% code coverage for APEX code, using Aura and LWC for Salesforce customization; performing bulk data migration exercises using data loader; and implementing regular enhancements to data access across Salesforce (customizing sharing rules, permission sets, and Enterprise Territory Model).
  • DE configuring and developing automated reports and documents, using Conga Composer; integrating Lightning record pages with LinkedIn component using LinkedIn Sales Navigator; and implementing data archiving system for Salesforce Chatter using Global Relay.
  • DE deploying and monitoring Web-based services on Cloud environments for the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) of applications, using Flosum; performing version control, branch merges, and resolving merge conflicts using Flosum; performing code reviews in .xml format on Flosum; performing issue and log tracking, using Jira and Service Now; and providing CD according to Agile methodologies.

Salary: $134,550.00 - $144,550.00 /year.
