Your Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled onsite Resident Engineer to join our team and contribute to our ongoing success. As a Resident Engineer, you will oversee a variety of Coax Cable projects, ensuring that manufacturing schedules, sample builds, and validation builds are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and safety. Your role will involve problem-solving, standardization, and building customer relationships, with the ability to work independently and within a team environment.

You will work closely with project engineering teams, project managers, and other stakeholders to drive project success.

What You Will Do:

  • Plan, coordinate, and oversee all aspects of coax cable assembly manufacturing.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and initiate design improvements for assembly issues.
  • Support manufacturing teams with high-priority projects and issues.
  • Conduct regular manufacturing walk-throughs and progress meetings.
  • Provide technical support and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Travel up to 15% to customer locations as needed.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications):

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or related field.
  • Proficient in root cause analysis and GD&T knowledge.
  • Experience with terminal crimping for low voltage and coax cables.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office tools - Excel, Word, and MS Project.

What Will Put You Ahead:

  • Certification in project management (PMP or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Ability to ensure cable assemblies meet customer and USCar specifications.
  • Team-building and organizational skills with an eye for quality and safety standards.
