Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Manage Programs: Lead the development and management of Mechanical Integrity programs to ensure equipment reliability and compliance with PSM standards.
- Inspection Strategy: Utilize RBI analysis to create effective inspection strategies.
- Training and Mentoring: Train and mentor plant personnel on best practices for equipment maintenance and inspection.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and operations teams to enhance plant reliability and efficiency.
- Failure Analysis: Perform detailed analyses of equipment failures to identify root causes and develop corrective actions.
- Regular Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of piping systems and valves to ensure safe and efficient operation.
- Issue Identification: Identify and address potential issues such as corrosion, wear, and leaks.
- Technical Guidance: Provide expert guidance on the maintenance of heat exchangers to optimize performance.
- Maintenance Schedules: Develop maintenance schedules and procedures for heat exchange equipment.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor and analyze heat exchanger performance data to identify areas for improvement.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: 6+ years of experience in mechanical integrity engineering, preferably in a similar industrial environment.
- Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of equipment failure analysis techniques and tools.
- Inspection Proficiency: Skilled in conducting piping and valve inspections.
- Heat Exchange Systems: Experience with heat exchange systems and maintenance practices.
- Problem-Solving: Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Nice to Have:
- Certifications: Certification in mechanical integrity or related areas.
- Industry Standards: Familiarity with industry standards such as API, ASME, and OSHA.
- CMMS: Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $70.00/hr.
