As the Energy Supply and Efficiency Manager, this role will be responsible for strategic and tactical sourcing actions for energy supply and implementation of new technologies including identifying energy cost saving opportunities and leading the implementation of these projects globally.

This individual will lead a collaborative team to support the corporate GHG reductions vision, lead implementation of energy infrastructure projects, procurement of electricity, natural gas and renewable energy.

The ideal candidate is a transformational partner who has a unique blend of problem-solving capabilities, an ability to prioritize initiatives using business judgement, and possesses technical knowledge of the energy systems and industry.

What you'll do…

  • Coordinate and oversee all aspects of energy supply including cost, quality and sustainability
  • Develop strategies and solutions for global, regional and local carbon footprint reductions
  • Lead development of energy infrastructure projects to deliver utilities, including contract negotiations and execution, and project delivery
  • Develop and maintain corporate energy use policies and guidelines, including procurement, quality, engineering, project development, contracting, and reporting of energy related performance

You'll have…

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering is required, Electrical major and Master’s degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years' experience in medium/high voltage facility supply engineering/design, facilities operation and maintenance activities.
  • Demonstrates active role in sourcing energy supply including familiarity with power and natural gas markets, financial analysis and policy awareness as pertains to global, regional and local energy markets.
  • Demonstrates clear knowledge of carbon footprint analysis and data management/reporting of performance for cost and energy efficiency
  • experience in development of projects to improve quality of utility service and carbon footprint improvement from start to finish (concept development, financial analysis, presentation and seeking corporate authority to execute projects, contract development and execution and implementation)
  • Past participation in corporate affairs and policy development for local, state, regional and national energy policy regulatory and legislative matters

  • Electrical major and Master’s degree is preferred.
  • Strong people relationship management, creativity, negotiation and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency to manage integrated engineering knowledge.
  • Strong analytical capabilities.
  • Certifications and licenses: Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Energy Procurement Professional (CEPP)
