The Cash Application clerk is responsible for the receipt and accounting of funds being paid to the organization. This role also serves as an auditor, ensuring that invoices are accurate and that proper accounting procedures are followed to account for the receipt of payment for goods and services completed by the organization. Candidate should have strong bookkeeping skills and a general knowledge of accounting procedures as they relate to Accounts Receivable. Ability to multitask and work independently is a must.

To perform the duties of this job, an individual must be able to read, write understand and communicate by telephone using the English Language. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time (3-4 hours at a time). The employee is frequently required to use hands for typing, 10-key operation, telephone dialing, feeling objects, tools, or controls. Must be able to talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required to this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly required to enter information into a computer.
