Interns work on multiple team engagements each year, including several pieces of any assignment - not just one part. What to expect:

• Assist with audit, review, and compilation engagements
• Assist with the preparation of client files and ensure all appropriate checklist items are complete prior to starting the engagement
• Prepare confirmations for assigned engagements
• Participate in a variety of accounting related projects
• Collaborate with experienced professionals on multiple assignments and develop relationships internally at Wiss

What we are looking for:

• Working towards a BA/BS degree or equivalent from an accredited university
• Must be able to work 3 days/week during the intern cycle (on-site required)
• Candidates should be highly motivated, possess a critical-thinking and problem-solving mindset, and be team players who possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Candidates must have a general understanding of Excel and Word

Desired Characteristics:

• 3.0 GPA or higher
• Accounting, Taxation, Finance or Business Administration major
• Graduating within the next 2 years with 150 credits
