About the Opportunity:

Dayforce is looking for a curious, self-motivated Product Design Intern to join our Finance Pod, where we focus on Payroll, Benefits, Tax, and Payments experiences. As an intern, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to the design of meaningful, user-centered products that are used by millions of people. You’ll gain hands-on experience working alongside experienced designers, researchers, and product teams, learning how to apply design thinking to real-world challenges.

We believe HR and workforce management tools should reflect the same level of thoughtfulness and polish as consumer software—designed with empathy, usability, and accessibility in mind.

What You’ll Get to Do:

• Support the design and re-design of product experiences within our Finance offerings, including responsive application design
• Participate in user research activities (with guidance from UX Researchers) to better understand user needs and test design ideas
• Learn and apply best practices in design systems, usability, and human-centered design
• Collaborate with Product Designers and cross-functional partners (Product Managers and Engineers)
• Develop low- and high-fidelity prototypes to explore and communicate design ideas
• Receive and apply feedback from senior designers and design managers
• Present design ideas and learn how to articulate design rationale to your team
• Advocate for inclusive design and accessibility principles
• Be part of a collaborative, fast-growing, and supportive Design team

What We’re Looking For:

• Currently pursuing a degree in Design, HCI, UX/UI, or a related field
• Passion for solving problems through thoughtful and user-centered product design
• Eagerness to learn from feedback and grow as a designer
• Familiarity with tools like Figma
• An interest in working on complex systems that serve diverse user groups
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• A portfolio (school or personal projects welcome) that demonstrates design thinking and creativity
