Job Description: As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the production of commercial and clinical biologics. Your responsibilities will include performing routine operations such as environmental cleaning and the formulation of buffers and media, all while ensuring compliance with cGMP documentation practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Precision Production: Prepare and execute manufacturing batch records, work instructions, and SOPs with a meticulous focus on safety and accuracy.
  • Chemical Mastery: Weigh, transfer, and mix chemicals with precision.
  • Documentation Excellence: Maintain thorough documentation of all activities to meet cGMP requirements.
  • Maintenance Maven: Complete preventative maintenance and work notification tasks promptly.
  • Equipment Expertise: Conduct equipment testing and routine troubleshooting.
  • Document Dynamo: Draft, review, and revise documents as needed.
  • Analytical Ace: Run in-process analytical testing when necessary.
  • Inventory Innovator: Maintain raw materials inventory using systems like Kanban.
  • Training Tracker: Keep training records up to date.
  • Safety Sentinel: Participate in safety inspections, improvement projects, and shift exchanges.
  • Collaborative Contributor: Attend meetings to address area needs based on changes.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • High School degree or GED required.
  • 1-3 years of relevant production experience.
  • Experience in a manufacturing and/or GMP environment.
  • Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to interpret data, perform basic calculations, and troubleshoot.
  • Capable of standing for 80% of the shift and lifting approximately 40 lbs.
  • Comfortable wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including a work uniform, steel toe shoes, hair net, safety glasses, bump cap, and nitrile gloves.

  • Schedule: 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM on a 2/2/3 schedule.

Pay and Benefits:

  • Pay Range: $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
  • Location: Hazelwood, MO
