Job Title: Manufacturing Technician

Job Description

As a Manufacturing Technician, you will play a vital role in supporting the manufacture of commercial and clinical biologics. You will perform routine operations that include environmental cleaning and the formulation of buffers and media following established standard operations procedures, all while ensuring compliance with cGMP documentation practices.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and execute manufacturing batch records, work instructions, and SOPs with a focus on safety and 'right the first time' executions with minimal oversight.
  • Weigh, transfer, and mix chemicals accurately.
  • Document all activities to meet cGMP requirements and maintain compliance in assigned work.
  • Complete preventative maintenance and work notification tasks promptly.
  • Conduct equipment testing and routine troubleshooting of process and analytical equipment.
  • Draft, review, and revise documents as needed.
  • Run in-process analytical testing when necessary.
  • Maintain raw materials inventory using systems such as Kanban.
  • Keep training records up to date.
  • Participate in safety inspections, improvement projects, and shift exchanges.
  • Attend meetings as needed to facilitate area needs based on changes.

Skills & Qualifications

  • High School degree or GED is required
  • 1-3 years of relevant production experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing and/or GMP environment.
  • Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office
  • Ability to interpret data, perform basic calculations, and possess troubleshooting skills.
  • Capable of standing for 80% of the shift and lifting approximately 40 lbs.
  • Must be comfortable wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including a work uniform, steel toe shoes, hair net, safety glasses, bump cap, and nitrile gloves

6:00 AM - 6:30pm on a 2/2/3 schedule

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $22.00/hr.
