Job Description Summary:

The Associate Maintenance Technician will perform basic maintenance and upkeep of the facilities. This position will perform various tasks that are necessary to maintain reliable, safe, and presentable facilities across the health system. He or she will be independently responsible for general maintenance activities after training and will assist senior maintenance technicians when appropriate.

Responsibilities And Duties:

Associates will work closely with experienced team members to develop skills and learn the role of maintenance technician.

Daily responsibilities may include tasks such as doors and hardware repair, cove bases repair, wall repairs, patching/painting, hanging pictures/posters/white boards, replacing lightbulbs/lenses, ceiling tiles, grounds, signage, exit light preventative maintenance, and other age and role appropriate responsibilities.

  • Only individuals enrolled in high school will be considered for this role. 16- and 17-year-old individuals without a high school diploma or GED will be considered only if they have a valid work permit. 18-year-old individuals enrolled in high school do not need a high school diploma/GED/work permit to be considered.
