Within ASML, the Machine Conditioning (MC) department is responsible for conditioning our lithography machines. Our objective is to precisely control the temperature of the critical areas in the machine and to keep products clean of particle and chemical contamination. Besides this we control the vacuum in our EUV tool, which is also a part of our responsibility. This is accomplished by systems with controlled water cooling and controlled ultra-high purity gas flows. You work with temperature control and gas conditioning, which is essential in reducing the environmental footprint of our machines – an essential part of our sustainability goals.
As an intern in our team, you will work on an interesting assignment that deals with gas and water manifolds, piping, sensors and vacuum feedthroughs.
