[What the role is]
You will be part of the Port and industry integration Planning team that formulates and implements the port-industry integration plan to fulfil the strategies set out under the Port Master Plan for Singapore’s Next Generation Port (NGP).
[What you will be working on]
The key responsibilities include:
Planning of electrical substations at the public landing facilities
Planning of charging stations for electrical harbour crafts at public landing facilities and offshore islands/anchorages
Planning of energy storage systems for marine facilities
Liaising with EMA and SPPG on works required for upgrading of substation
Planning of submarine energy cable in consideration of optimal routes and minimising energy loss
Coordinating with agencies for planning approvals and necessary studies
Prepare and carry processes for funding requirements
[What we are looking for]
Degree in Electrical engineering
Candidates with at least 5 years experiences in the planning and development of electrical infrastructure including electrical substations and/or charging station for EVs .
Experiences in planning and development of large-scale submarine cables (electrical and communication cables) would be an added advantage
Good verbal and written communication skills.
