General Overview
The Electrical Engineer - Analog designs, develops, modifies and evaluates components and processes used in the generation, manipulation, transmission and storage of electricity for state-of-the-art piezoelectric hydroacoustic transducers. Determines design approaches and parameters. Selects components and equipment based on analysis of specifications and reliability. Reviews vendor capability to support product development. Applies principles and techniques of electrical engineering to accomplish goals and requires a strong understanding of analog circuit theory and the ability to work through all stages of the electronics development lifecycle. This position requires exercising good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions generally involving complex analog and digital designs for embedded underwater products. Requires interaction with senior internal and external personnel while exhibiting professionalism and competency.

Supervisory Responsibilities
This job has no supervisory responsibilities but may provide technical leadership to lower level engineers and technicians, including carrying out lead responsibilities in accordance with applicable regulations and laws and the organization’s policies and procedures. This includes, but is not limited to training employees, planning, assigning, directing work and resolving technically related work problems.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor's degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university in Electrical Engineering or related technical field and a minimum of 5-10 years of directly related experience with a combination of hands-on product design and/or sustaining engineering; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Other Skills and Abilities
Position requires U.S. Person for access to ITAR-Controlled Technical Data.
ITAR regulations dictate that information and material pertaining to defense and military related technologies may only be shared with US Persons unless authorization from the Department of State is received or a special exemption is used.

Salary Range:
$90,800.00-$121,100.000

The anticipated salary range listed for this role is only an estimate. Actual compensation for successful candidates is carefully determined based on several factors including, but not limited to, location, education/training, work experience, key skills, and type of position.
