Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced R&D Engineer with a strong background in polymer synthesis and application, specializing in advanced materials and formulations based on silicones, polyimides, epoxies and other polymers. The role will take on the critical responsibility of leading technical innovations, formulating new products, and driving key projects in electronic materials. This role requires not only technical expertise but also effective collaboration with both external partners and internal teams to transform cutting-edge ideas into reality.
Key Responsibilities:
Innovation Leadership: Spearhead advancements in technological materials, focusing specifically on polymer-based electronic materials, formulations and related products. Identify emerging trends and seize opportunities within the market to enhance product offerings.
Formulation Development: Lead efforts in developing new formulations that optimize the properties of materials to ensure peak performance in electronics applications. Conduct comprehensive research and testing to deliver high-quality product outcomes.
Market Analysis & Idea Transformation: Stay current with industry developments, analyzing market demands to translate them into actionable innovation strategies. Work in cross-functional teams to transform concepts into viable product solutions.
Collaboration & Networking: Build and maintain robust relationships with leading universities, research institutes, and start-ups. Explore and assess opportunities for collaboration while fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the organization.
Project Management: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, operations, and marketing, to drive projects from conception through to commercialization. Ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet quality expectations.
Communication & Presentation: Clearly communicate complex technical concepts to a variety of stakeholders, both internally and externally. Prepare and present detailed findings, progress reports, and proposals to senior management.Zhangjiagang/Shanghai, China
Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in Materials Science, Polymer Engineering, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field; Ph.D. preferred.
Proven experience in polymer synthesis, with an emphasis on creating high-performance materials such as silicones, polyimides, epoxies, etc.
A solid record of developing innovative material solutions for the electronics industry or similar sectors.
Strong analytical abilities to translate market insights into practical innovations.
A passion for technological innovation and a commitment to advancing materials research.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to foster effective relationships with external partners and collaborate productively within teams.
Willingness and flexibility to travel domestically and internationally as required.
