We’re seeking a dynamic and focused Senior Process Engineer in Appleton, WI who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. Join us, and you’ll have the opportunity to design and develop state-of-the-art facilities for clients in diverse markets such as specialty chemicals, industrial fermentation, pulp and paper, batteries, and electric vehicles. As you lead a team of process engineers, you’ll be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks while gaining familiarity with the client’s expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You’ll work with a multi-discipline, highly interactive team to establish a process design basis, develop an optimized process, create models and calculations, and generate process drawings. You’ll also have the chance to utilize your technical expertise to mentor junior team members and help your team discover what drives them, nurturing their purpose and guiding them forward. Your role keeps our company connected, and we’ll support you with what you need to be successful.

This position will:

  • Perform conceptual and detailed design for diverse industries such as specialty chemicals, pulp and paper, or batteries.
  • Use best practices and industry knowledge to solve complex engineering problems.
  • Interface with other disciplines, project management, and the client to provide fully coordinated projects.
  • Support field construction efforts, including reviewing submittals, responding to questions from clients and contractors, and performing field walks.
  • Perform quality reviews on designs performed by others.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on basic engineering applications and principles.
  • Participate in the development of proposals, budgets, and schedules for process-specific work.

Here's what you'll need

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering
  • At least 15+ years of experience working on manufacturing projects
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in engineering design as a facilities/plant engineer or as a consulting engineer
  • Working knowledge of modeling and design tools such as ASPEN-HYSYS, PipeFlo, AFT Fathom, HTRI, WinGems, SmartPlant, and Bluebeam

120,700.00

Posted Salary Range: Upper

158,025.00

And certain roles may be eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock.

The base salary range for this position is $120,700.00 to $158,025.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
