About Team

The VST/camera team focuses on finding low power, high image quality solutions for AR/VR camera systems, including developing CMOS sensors, novel optical/imaging sensors, ultra-compact camera module technologies, camera lens design, and algorithms. The team is vertically integrating HW/SW for system optimization, shaping the AI experience for the future.

Responsibilities:

Job responsibilities

  • Design and architect complex camera systems, including optical components, sensor selection, and mechanical integration
  • Lead image quality assessment and optimization to ensure systems meet or exceed performance metrics
  • Implement machine vision algorithms for image analysis, feature detection and scene understanding
  • Coordinate collaboration between hardware and software teams to ensure system-level goals are achieved
  • Evaluate and integrate emerging imaging technologies to maintain product competitiveness

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's or doctoral degree in optical engineering, electronic engineering, computational physics, computer science or related technology is preferred
  • At least 3 years of experience in camera system software and hardware development, including sensor technology, camera module integration, and system integration
  • Understand image signal processing (ISP) technology (including noise reduction, HDR processing, and color correction) and workflow
  • Possess practical experience in Computer Vision and Machine Learning algorithms, especially in real-time applications
  • Familiar with Computer Vision libraries such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch
  • Experience with Python, C/C++ programming, and FPGA or GPU accelerated processing
  • Exceptional problem-solving and systems thinking skills, combined with strong teamwork and communication abilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiar with SoC, AP, NPU and other chip hardware architectures, able to evaluate chip computing power and perform model adaptation optimization
  • Experience in imaging system development in consumer electronics, automotive, or industrial fields
  • Experience with the complete cycle of camera systems from concept to mass production
  • Rich experience in XFN, cross-disciplinary project cooperation, and implementation
