Responsibilities

A successful applicant will:

&bull Possess the ability to understand Autonomous vehicle system and architectures

&bull Foundational understanding of software and the software development process is key&bull Performing the role of Autonomy Test Engineer across multiple acquisition efforts, to include: design, development, integration, test, deployment.

&bull Demonstrate skill sets in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python

&bull Familiar and skilled in modern autonomy practices and techniques

&bull Rreasonable understanding with modern commercial software development practices and tools such at: AGILE, Kanban, Git, Artifactory, Cucumber, Atlassian, Jenkins, etc.

&bull Experience with operating systems, container frameworks, and deployment targets.

&bull Knowledge in hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded targets within operational environments.

&bull Familiarity with digital engineering best practices, to include use of model-based system engineering approaches.

&bull Assisting in development of RFP packages and other technical documentation for competition and acquisition of new systems.

&bull High-level familiarity with open system design concepts and open architectures.

&bull Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

&bull Strong oral and written communication skills.

&bull Mentor junior employees and actively participate in their professional development

&bull Maintain a willingness to accept changing and evolving roles & responsibilities in support of customers&rsquo requirements and needs.

&bull Self-starting, charge-the-hill mentality to deliver mission capability at the speed of need.

Qualifications

Required:

&bull 5+ direct hands-on experience (salary will be competitive, based on experience) with aerospace systems

Desired:

&bull Graduate of an accredited Test Pilot School

&bull Developmental Test and Operational Test operations experience

&bull Previous experience as a Military Pilot, Test Conductor or Test Director

&bull Experience with or knowledge of systems engineering processes and procedures

&bull Experience leading cross functional teams comprised of engineering, program management and technicians to successfully execute development and fielding of complex products

&bull Current TS clearance with eligibility for SCI

&bull U.S. Citizenship is required for this position
