The Role
We are looking for an experienced Steel Structure & Non Pressure Parts engineer, to participate in our Engineering & Technical department with the following expertise:
- Perform the function of Structural Engineer on large or complex projects, including Design and Supply of Power plants Boiler´s steel structure and non-pressure parts.
- Perform steel and non-pressure parts calculations such as:
- Performs technical calculations and technical reports.
- Prepares technical data sheets, material takeoff and specifications.
- Prepares, verifies and/or approves drawings related to the technical calculations performed.
- Check, comment, and approval of Steel structure and Non pressure parts shop drawings.

- Assures contract specifications, applicable codes and company procedures are fulfilled.
- Prepares technical data sheets and specifications.
- Prepares, verifies and/or approves drawings related to his/her technical calculations performed.
- Ensures successful completion of the assigned deliverables per contract requirements within the budgeted time and cost constraints of the project/proposals.
- Reports to the Section Manager any technical project/proposal difficulty and /or out of standard solution to be approved.
- Coordinates and supports the Project Engineering Manager in the technical aspects of the project.

Expected:
- Structural Engineering or equivalent
- More than 5-10 years relevant experience in Power Plant Projects (design and calculation)
- Excellent command of Spanish and English languages
- Good organization, written and oral skills
- Knowledge of Spanish, European and International Standards and Codes ( EuroCodes, AISC, ASCE 7, etc.)
- Advanced user of StaadPro and Idea Connection
- User experience of TEKLA structures
- Advanced user of MS Office
- Holding a valid permit to live and work in Spain is required
Desirable:
- User of NAVIS 3 D Model
- Modelling package experience of TEKLA structures
- Advanced user of Autocad
- Advanced user of Solid works Simulation or ANSYS
