PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR II (PART-TIME) - (T226381)

Position Summary:

This position will serve the administrative needs for the Basu Research Lab and will be assisting with NIH grants, Institutional Review Board, clinical trials and administrative needs for a robust and active research program. This position is a part-time, benefitted position and will be onsite.

Administers the logistical support for a University-wide program, which is often of a large and/or complex nature. May participate in developing program plans, objectives and directives. May supervise support staff. Acts as a communication liaison with outside resources. Plans and carries out special projects related to the success of the program. Responsible for adherence to program budget. May provide education and training to UAB community.

Salary Range: $18.35 - $26.00

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field and one (1) year of related experience required. OR AN EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF RELEVANT EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE.

Preferred:

• Advanced knowledge of the research environment including the needs for NIH submissions and reporting, IRB
• UAB financial and administrative tasks (P-Cards, Calendar Management, etc.)
