A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Hardware/Software Engineer (Automation) you will go abroad for several weeks, especially during the commissioning of our systems (yard and offshore).

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Realization of the automation of the ancillary systems of offshore transmission platforms.
• Build the technical concepts and implement them in software and hardware in the next step.
• Coordination with our global customers as part of the technical implementation in order to turn our customers' wishes into reality.
• Commissioning of the technical systems created together with our partners and implementation of the acceptance tests together with the customer and the certifier.
• Creation of the documentation for the software and hardware within the project as well as the final approvals.
• Implementation of customer training for the customer's future operating and service personnel.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent, ideally in the field of computer science or automation technology or comparable training,
• Several years of relevant professional experience in the field of automation technology (e.g. Simatic S7, PCS7) and SCADA/HMI (e.g. WinCC, CopaData Zenon),
• Very good knowledge of MS Office.
• Fluent knowledge of English is required,
• Basic knowledge of German can represent an advantage,
• The willingness to go abroad for several weeks, especially during the commissioning of our systems (yard and offshore).
