As a CeVe Electrical Engineer II at Honeywell, you will play a key role in leading the selection and management of electronic components. You will provide technical expertise and guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring the successful execution of cost-saving projects while utilizing Honeywell preferred suppliers. In this role, you will impact the successful execution and delivery of procurement projects by leveraging your expertise in component Engineering.

You will focus on managing the approved manufacturer’s part list, identifying cost-saving opportunities, and effectively managing end-of-life and PCN (part change notice) is critical to our Honeywell Fire Business.

The annual base salary range for this position is $82,400 - $103,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
  • 1-3 years of experience investigating electrical components, developing specifications, and validation requirements for non-custom and custom components
  • Solid understanding of electrical components and how they are used within circuits

WE VALUE

  • BS in Electrical Engineering
  • Ability to read, interpret, and review electrical schematics
  • 1-3 years of experience working with end-of-life components, PCN's, and reduction of last time buys
  • Ability to evaluate circuits from schematics and determine how the circuit works and can be tested
  • Basic regulatory knowledge of UL, ULC, FM, FCC, EN, NFPA standards
