Freedom Mortgage

Summary:

The Freedom Mortgage Internship Program is an eight-week program that provides a unique opportunity for college students to gain hands on experience in a corporate setting within the mortgage industry while applying the knowledge and skills acquired in the classroom to help advance their skill set and grow professionally.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Professional, assertive and timely follow through skills
• Customer Service orientation
• Ability to perform efficiently in a high-volume environment, both independently and as part of a team
• Network with peers
• Ability to multi-task and meet competing priorities
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance. Comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• High School Graduate/GED:
• 0-1 years related work experience

Licensure, Certification, Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred

Specialized Skills & Knowledge Requirements:

• Prior work experience or university involvement (clubs, organizations, and athletics) preferred
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, especially in Word and Excel

People Management Level:

This position is an individual contributor.
