About the Job
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Director, Backend Engineering to join our Digital Technology department. We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and strategic individual to lead and oversee the backend engineering teams responsible for powering a high-traffic e-commerce platform. This critical role will focus on building and maintaining a robust, scalable backend infrastructure that seamlessly integrates with our Order Management System (OMS), Catalog and Product Information Management (PIM), Data Lake, Marketing Technology (MarTech) stack, and various third-party integrations, including payment systems. You will be responsible for driving technical innovation, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security, and collaborating cross-functionally to align engineering efforts with business goals.

The starting salary for this position is $176,400 – $210,000 and may increase to $250,000 depending on merit, length of service with the Company, and other factors. We take into consideration an individual’s skills, background, and experience in determining final salary. Other compensation may include a 20% Annual Incentive Plan (AIP) bonus paid out according to policy. Base pay information is based on market location and may be subject to prevailing wage laws, if applicable.
