About the Opportunity
- Leading engagements from beginning to end, inclusive of development of risk-based audit plans and test procedures, execution of test procedures, and the review and reporting of findings to the Director
- Conducting senior management meetings and articulating findings and proposed recommendations concisely and in a meaningful way to the business
- Maintaining departmental standards and enhancing the quality of audit engagements in line with the documented audit procedures (included in the Audit Manual) and the IIA Standards
- Plan documentation and testing of SOX IT Application and General Controls
- Planning testing for assessing the design and operating effectiveness of IT General Controls
- Perform SOX documentation, including risk and controls matrices and evaluate controls as new systems are developed or processes change
- Perform ITGC testing including design & operating effectiveness testing, remediation test work, and roll-forward testing
- Assist in performing IT audit engagement (such as data privacy)
- Assist management in advising on Remediation where necessary
About You
- CIA, CISA designation is a strong asset
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience (within IT Audit)
- Solid understanding of SOX and internal control concepts (e.g., COSO, COBIT, NIST)
- Experience of assessing controls and change management over IT Applications
- Excellent communication skills, collaboration with the IT team and external audit
- Ability to work independently and handle ad hoc requests
Pay Rate
$55/Hour
