About the Sales Development Representative:

MarketStar is seeking enthusiastic and driven Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) to join our growing team, focused on the exciting digital wealth management sector. As an SDR, you will be on the front lines of our sales efforts, playing a crucial role in generating new business opportunities. You will be responsible for executing proactive outbound strategies to identify and qualify potential clients within the digital wealth management market. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your sales career within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Location: Ogden, Utah

What Will You Do?

  • Execute outbound prospecting strategies, including cold calling, email outreach, and leveraging social media, to identify and engage potential clients in the digital wealth management space.
  • Conduct initial conversations with prospects to understand their business needs and challenges related to digital wealth management solutions.
  • Clearly and effectively communicate the value proposition of our offerings and how they address the needs of digital wealth management firms.
  • Qualify leads based on established criteria and accurately record all activities and prospect information in our CRM system (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Schedule qualified meetings and product demonstrations for Account Executives to further pursue sales opportunities.
  • Research and identify key decision-makers and influencers within target digital wealth management organizations.
  • Collaborate closely with the Sales and Marketing teams to align on outreach strategies and messaging.
  • Meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly targets for outbound activities and qualified lead generation.
  • Continuously learn about the digital wealth management landscape, industry trends, and our solutions to effectively engage prospects.
  • Provide valuable feedback to the Sales and Marketing teams based on prospect interactions to help refine our strategies and messaging.

What Will You Need to Succeed?

  • 2 + years of experience in sales, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • A strong desire to learn and succeed in a sales career, with a particular interest in the technology or financial services sectors.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate value propositions clearly and concisely.
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach with a strong work ethic and a results-oriented mindset.
  • Resilience and the ability to handle rejection while maintaining a positive attitude.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage outreach activities and follow-up.
  • Ability to quickly learn and understand new technologies and business concepts, particularly within the digital wealth management space.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM systems or the ability to learn quickly.
  • A team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role or outbound sales is a plus, but not always required for entry-level positions.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience is preferred.
